Worthington is launching “New York 1776,” a Revolutionary War game that allows you to replay the campaign around New York City. Save the revolution or crush it.

“New York 1776” is a game that lets you take a closer look at one of the key campaigns of the American Revolutionary War. All with an easy rules set, playtime of 2 hours or less, and the pleasure of using wooden blocks for units.

Three stretch goals have already been reached and a 4th is close at and. The Kickstarter lasts until May 27.

I’m not sure how it plays, but it’s setup looks very much like the old classic Waterloo! I can’t wait for “New York 1776”
