While I was at my local Used Book Store, I came across part of my childhood and couldn’t resist buying it back! The Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd edition Players Handbook and Dungeon Master’s Guide. For a total of $23 I was going to be able to ride the time machine back to a time that was filled with adventure and combat! Well, ok, my entire life has been filled with adventure and combat really. But this was special. This was the time where the sparks were just igniting the flame of my geek-dom!

In the gallery below I’ve commented on some of my favorite parts. I remember spending hours looking at the equipment vendor lists and trying to figure out the best combinations of gear for my beginning characters
