On May 20th I posted pictures of a Double Dwarf Army for Hordes of the Things! It was full of great pictures of beautiful unpainted lead (and resin, haha!). Well, a few weeks later, and a flood as well mind you, here we are with a fancy-fresh Double Dwarf Army.
I have 2 factions here. The surface dwelling Dwarfs known as the “Top Guard” and the underground Dwarfs known as “Thor’s Escort”.
The “Top Guard” are below:
The Top Guard remain on the surface protecting the secret entrances to underground Dwarven cities from the enemies of the Dwarf race such as: Orcs, Goblins, fragile Elves, and those pesky Gnomes (who are always trying to claim Dwarf territories for themselves)!
Top Guard are built in the following fashion:

“Thor’s Escort” is below:
If ever there was a threat great enough to require it, Thor’s Escort would leave the Dwarf underground temples and join the Top Guard in crushing their foes! Thor would be invoked and his lightning fused Golden Spear would thwart the greatest of enemies!

And there you have it! A massive Double Dwarf Army! All of the figures are Essex 15mm except Thor. He is an OLD Essex model that is about 65mm tall! The secret entrance is a resin Baueda model. All are on Litko bases except the secret entrance. I used Citadel and Apple Barn paints and Gale Force Nine Summer basing extras. I hope you’ve enjoyed my posts so far! I have many more coming.
